Updated Patio and Basement Pix! FINALLY!!!

Ok, ok, I know it took a while, but FINALLY, here are some updated pix of the patio and basement!!! As you know, I did Tom's basement for Father's Day (although it wasn't done in time) and finally it's done and we're slowly putting everything back to where it was. Tom is pretty happy with it! Thanks to Heather (Tom's cousin) for doing her basement first and giving me the idea to do ours!!! Although it's still a bit messy down there, it'll be organized soon. For those of you who know Tom, he's a pack rat and kept EVERYTHING, so it's going to take time to go through all of that and get it all organized, but by the pictures below, you get the idea.

As far as the patio, they are currently still working on it, but as you can see by the pictures below, they are almost done!! Due to the humidity that we are experiencing, they have to wait to lay the main slab or else it'll crack. We are getting bluestone to go around the tops of the knee walls, which they got today and will be putting up. It's all coming together!!!

Tom's finished basement (don't mind the mess, in the process of putting it all back!)
Basement with painted floor
Entrance to the patio
View from the backyard - you can see how there is the main patio and then the extended patio to the right (the opening is the entrance)
Another view from the backyard
A closeup of the entrance to the upper patio
4 steps going down from the upper patio to the main patio
Upper patio going out to the backyard
Jenna playing with the stones
Where the steps are going to be going out to the gate - the steps will extend all the way to where Lexus is standing
Jenna wanted Mommy to take another picture! LOL!
One more view of the patio - so pretty much you walk in, have the main patio and then 4 steps up to the upper patio. On either side of those steps are flower pots, it's hard to see, but dirt will fill in there and we'll have flowers on either side.
So, there you have it folks!!! We're getting there, slowly but surely, and pretty soon we'll be out there with our nice furniture, hanging out, and having some BBQ's! Mike, get your oversized scissors ready!!! :-)

The basement looks so much bigger LOL After 3 hrs of sitting and thinking about where the recliner should go, tom finally picked that other spot. LOL

Now you have to paint the panneling (sp) like we did and the basement will brighten up even more! It is a pain to paint panneling but so worth it; lots of people don't even realize my walls are panneling...check the pics out of my basement again and see for yourself! Looks great! Can't wait for our deck/patio whatever daddy wants to help with...

Thanks!!! Yeah, the next step is ripping down the paneling, it's coming off anyway and we're going to replace it with sheetrock. :-)
